Water is one of our most valued assets of this nation. Its management for domestic, environmental and cultural requirements must be at the forefront of all allocation decisions.
As an Aboriginal man I am culturally bound to my People’s Country and obligated to Care for Country. Aboriginal culture and knowledge of water management must be recognised. I am committed to finding real, meaningful and sustainable solutions to sustain economic development across the various business sectors, while addressing human, environmental and cultural needs.
As a Senator I will focus on the implementation of timing environment water flows with Aboriginal cultural requirements and significant cultural events while understanding seasonal water flows for agricutural use.
